Well, the Branhams have had such an eventful year. One of the stepping stones we have accomplished is that we graduated from college. I am very grateful for my college education, but where it leads me now is still up in the air lol. Brett graduated as well and he has taken this year off to spend time with me and to figure out exactly what direction he could see his life going in. His original plan was dental school but now that we have a family our plans have adjusted slightly. His new aspirations are to become a lawyer. School is shorter, cheaper, and easier to get in too (all very big pluses). Where exactly, it all depends, (I am really pushing for Hawaii though :)))
Our other major stepping stone is that we now have a precious daughter to love and take on our exciting adventures. We found out we were pregnant in January and now we have the most perfect 3 month old baby girl.
Church Callings: Brett has been the 2nd councelor in the Elders Qurom and he is currently a ward missionary. And I have been a mia maid teacher for an entire year! We absolutely love our callings.
Also this year, our family has grown closer, not only to each other but more importantly to the Lord. I am grateful that we both have the desire to become more Christlike everyday. We are nowhere near perfect but it is always important to strive to be a better person. I think that if you don't try to progress in someway that you are actually going backwards. I couldn't imagine looking back 1 year from now and thinking i was the same person. So I guess bring it on 2011! I can't wait to see where me and my little family will be in just a year from now!!!
