Easter :)

Gee, well I guess it has been an eventful/uneventful weekend. Brett and I took Baya to see the Rio movie, and that went pretty well. The only thing is that she was super noisy because she was talking to the birds so much HAHA, so we just moved towards the very front so we wouldn't bother anyone in hopes that her voice would carry forward. She feel asleep halfway through it anyways lol.

My uncle died of cancer. I guess looking at it positively he is finally done suffering and also my grandma has been living in PA the last two years taking care of him, which I admire her dedication, but i am also grateful she will be coming home. She needs to see her great granddaughter more!!!

Baya had her first Easter. She got a silly looking giraffe stuffed animal (that she lights up every time she sees) and a stand and play activity table that she loves!!! But the day before the BOTH of us got sick. Nothing serious, just a lot of congestion and pressure on our face, and definitely not feeling like ourselves. That night was such a struggle. She barely slept, so needless to say, I needed a good nap so we went to my parents. We ate some yummy pancakes (and candy lol) and mom watched my sicky baby while brett and i got a little nappy. And later we just grilled out and relaxed all evening. When brett and I got home we did our scripture study, and I have to say that nothing can bring a couple together more than talking about Jesus Christ. It is so edifying and uplifting.

I'd just like to add that I know Heavenly Father loves us so much that He sent His Son to earth to atone for our sins. Jesus loves Heavenly Father and He was willing to obey Him. And Jesus loves each one of us. I am so grateful for my savior and His eternal sacrifice. I know He lives.
