I hate you reflux.
so my little guy is 6 weeks old and he is such a cutie pie... he is also very demanding because he is fighting acid reflux and his tummy is in pain a lot of the time. I took him back to the pediatritian at the beginning of the week and they prescribed him Zantac which is supposed to work miracles.... it's been three days since and we haven't seen any improvement in this poor guy (which I guess sometimes happens?!?) gr. No I am not mad that he needs to be constantly held, I barely sleep, and he wants to eat ALL the time because he thinks it makes his tummy feel better... I am mad that I can't fix it and he is hurting!!! The times he is awake and not crying in agony he is the HAPPIEST BABY and smiles all the time and it is just a shame that we can't experience these joys as much as we would like to. :( my poor boy.

I am so sorry. I feel your pain. Bella was the same way, we tried lots of different medications, even one that was a compound so insurance wouldn't cover it... it was $65.00 and big surprise, it didn't work! I hope he feels better really soon! Good news is, Bella grew out of hers and hopefully Ever will too! Keeping you in our prayers, congrats on such a handsome little man!
ReplyDeletewow girl, yes, this is definitely tuff, I really hope Ronan won't have any similar issues because it is making it slightly harder having two. I can't figure this little guy out.. now we think he is possibly lactose intolerant... so I am trying not to consume any dairy and seeing how that goes... I just pray we figure it out soon.... grr... I hope you are enjoying this point in your pregnancy before you get super uncomfortable! I hated being pregnant with baya through the entire summer! SO HOT! it is going to fly by though and he is going to be here so soon!
