I can't quite put all of my feelings I have for Ever in a post... or even write them out at all for that matter. Year 2 and most of 3 were challenging in many ways with Ever, but I can't begin to describe the leaps and bounds he has made coming into year four. He is so fun to do everything with. He is by far my least demanding, most understanding, patient, caring child right now. He just loves. Ever has the biggest heart of anyone.. I think he gets it from his daddy.
He has been going to 3k this year and I also think it has made quite a difference with his listening and comprehension. When I leave him for school he gives me a precious hug and then almost always sweetly kisses some part of my leg or hand before he lets me go. Although, its difficult to leave him, because he pulls on my heart strings, I know it is what is best for him right now. He would be content to stay at home and play on his own all day if I let him though.
He is my super eater. super sleeper. super hero always saving my day.
Ever loves the usual boy things.. heros, cars, trucks, and star wars.
He loves swimming, any water fun, beach time, riding bikes, exploring, bugs, play doh, and running (he never stops). Cleaning and housework are not on his list of fun activities. His little brother, Ollie, is also not on his favorites list. I wish they could just see that they will be best friends already and skip this terrible annoying stage together.
Ever does love and admire Miss Bay though.. and they constantly play and do everything together.
He has so many wonderful traits built up in that 4 yr old little body. He is super compassionate.. Ollie could come up to him and destroy what Ever has been doing for the past 30 mins and then also hurt Ever in some way and I will go put Ollie in timeout (maybe even spank him) and Ever is freakin out because he doesn't want me to. He doesn't want Ollie (or bay) to cry or be punished. We all have to learn lessons though. Ever will be the peace maker of our bunch and also the protector.
I love when he talks to random strangers (safely) .. He will go out on our balcony and start yelling hey! To who ever the lucky neighbor is that day. Or the people on the garbage truck picking up our garbage get an ear full until they finally acknowledged him lol. "Hey fella! Fella! Hey! I have a garbage truck too!" He may get on people's nerves occasionally but I think it's adorable and I don't discourage him.
Baya is my strict rule follower and although Ever likes having rules and likes letting other people know what they are.. He is also ok with breaking them occasionally. Just a learning phase though. Like he is quite good at putting himself in danger and/or giving me mini heart attacks. Riding down a hill into a gross pond, picking up spiders and roaches, jumping off the highest things he can.. Yes, child of mine, I will make sure to remind you of this one day when you have a 4yr old.
Ever is always my child to stop what he is doing to randomly tell me he loves me and it is one of the little things I need to help make my day bright and go smoothly.
He got to have a monster truck party over at the park (per request). It was so fun for him. We all loved seeing the excitement on his face.
I have said it since day one, but this boy is special. He is going to change lives. I know because of the special way he has changed mine. Love my Ever boy, forever and ever.
