23 months

I feel that many of my most recent posts have not been as positive about this special little girl of mine. Please don't mistake just how much I love her. Baya is my best mini friend, my sweet, caring, intelligent, and beautiful inside and out princess. I am loving that she is talking to me (please revert back to this post one day when I complain otherwise). I love her short sentences, and that every time she says something new it shocks and impresses me all over again. I have proud mommy moments everyday with her. Here are some of the few things going on with miss baya right now...


-all birds are duckies
-you love reading books before bed, especially a particular Elmo one.
-horses and monkeys are your favorite animals
-you love to be tickled
-you are going through another putting things in your mouth stage, mostly our mail.
-you almost don't have a mullet anymore!
-you are a good eater.. especially if it has a picture of Elmo or something on it you think is cool or your usual plain noodles and fruits and cucumbers.
-you like to feel pretty and cool and you tell me how big you are
-you love picking out a movie and watching it with mommy
-you don't love sharing (this is our downfall)
-you tell me when you poop and pee.
-In fact we always have to say bye to everything. Bye beach, bye pee pees, bye boogers, bye bug, bye airplane, bye duckies, etc.
-when things are plural they usually get an 'ies' instead of just an 's' . examples: eggies, duckies, boogies, doggies, etc.
-You finally answer questions accurately.. you say yesh or yup
-you dont throw a tantrum when going to sleep ever but you do dilly dally as much as possible so even without the tantrum it still takes at least an hour ..... I am a sucker for when you beg and plead...."one more book mom---- peeeeeezzzzz!!" this needs to change I know. And you will grab me tight and kiss me over and over (but again I think this is another one of your bedtime procrastination tricks).
-you are "jumpy" for lack of a better word.... aka if you hear the slightest noise, you come running and grab me until you forget about it or feel better.
-coloring is one of your favorite things to do that's for sure
-I ask you want you want to do today and you almost always say "go to beach!"
-you are so sweet to your brother.. if he isn't with us you ask where he is or if he is crying, you make sure I know it (even though I do of course). you actually try and share with him all the time and you are very understanding when we say "that is the baby's" or "I need to feed the baby"
-you know your colors
-you like to take pictures or yourself and have picture taken of you
-if I ask you how old you will be.. you hold your two fingers up and say two
-you have a best friend here named nathaniel, but we call him Nano... you two will giggle and smile and play for hours. He is almost two years older than you though. He is very patient with you, understands you are younger, and is a good example for you to follow.
-you like to make everyone around you happy, mostly your mommy though.
-I love how I can do the smallest thing, but you will thank me like I just lifted the world off your shoulders. "oh! Tank You Momma!!!"
-when you go to bed you take my spot and want me to play our "scooch" game and after we read a book or two and you are calmed down you say "scratch momma!" insisting on a back scratch.

That's all I got for now! She is the cutest thing on the block. She makes this mommas world go round!!! love my baya and I am excited to plan your second birthday and make it so awesome for you!
