This is our second year with three kids going to Lakewood.
Baya : Ms. Shrider (2nd)
Ever : Ms. Duggins (1st)
Ollie : Ms. Fender (K)
The adjustment to school as gone much better this year. We had a slow start and were out for three extra weeks due to a hurricane and flood damage. But now we are in the swing of things.
I love these times. I love all of the stories they come home with.
Ever by far makes things up and his stories get very entertaining. He was hiding something from me in his book bag the other day. After prying it away from him I saw that is was a little love letter from a little girl. He quickly says, "no mom, no mom, I don't love her she loves me." We laughed. He was embarrassed. It was too cute.
Baya continues to excel and be the bright and sweet girl she has always been.
Ollie always must stay busy. He gets in the car and immediately asks what we are doing today... I am like, "you are crazy kid. We are going home and chillin. We don't always need to go go go. " He does really well in school too and is very close to reading himself.
