25 weeks and 16 months

We are 15 weeks tops from holding our new little addition and 3 weeks from my next appt. ( my last was when I was 18 weeks). We are still trucking along pretty well though. Still decently comfortable... but one thing that I am kind of bummed about is that with baya, everything was perfect except I got this sharp pain/burn in my crotch (tmi I know) but seriously I would have the most difficult time doing things as simple as rolling over in bed because of the pain... well, thought I could maybe avoid it this time but I am not that lucky. Don't get me wrong I really couldn't have easier pregnancies but I am not looking forward to this part of it again. Ouch!
On a brighter note, my emotions are staying pretty under control compared to last time. That or I have just learned a lot from being a mom lol.
I should probably control my appetite better.. food is such a weakness! waaahhh!
The baby is kicking all the time! Sometimes I feel like he/she is going to kick right out of my belly! This baby has some strength already!

As for my 16 month old....
this girl is trouble .. jk she is really not. She is so enjoyable and loves attention that's for sure. She loves learning about everything around her. She loves when we just pull her on our laps and try to explain the world to her. She does her best to understand and we do our best to help her. She loves drawing/coloring, and she likes to watch me do it too. She has an obsession with animals. I have a lot of routines where I repeatedly say things and she can't/doesnt try exactly to say them but she will hum the way I say it. So now I know what she is saying by certain ways she hums lol. Going to the beach is still a huge fave. Going "bye-bye" is a hit no matter where we go she loves getting out of the house.
Singing songs: this girl must think it is her birthday everyday because we light a candle, sing, and blow it out multiple times. Patty cake is a big one (she knows all the hand motions). 5 little money's swinging in a tree. twinkle twinkle. anyways, there's a bunch.
I try to tell her there is a baby in my belly .. But she knows what a belly is and she knows what a baby is lol and she looks at me like I am crazy for pointing at my belly and calling it a baby. She will lay on me a lot and then I will feel the baby kicking, probably telling her to get off I can imagine.... Which is possibly foretelling the future quite a bit haha.
We went through a really bad eating phase for the past 3 weeks because of sickness.. it started out with a stomach bug and then shortly after that she picked up a cold that has lasted forever but is now finally clearing up and her appetite is returning.. geeez I hate the mommy guilt trip from that. I would have to say her favorites right now are breakfast foods (pancakes, waffles, french toast, cereal, fried potatoes, eggs, etc., she loves them all!) Still struggling with meats and veggies for that matter. such is life.
So that is our little update... 2 more weeks she will be 17 months and then we only have one more month until she is old enough for nursery at church! (a milestone I have been waiting on since she started walking..oh... EIGHT WHOLE MONTHS AGO!) I am not ready for this girl to grow up by any means but I am sure ready for nursery!
