we had a pretty low key vday this year for several reasons. Mostly because we are trying to save money and because Brett has a paper due this week so he could only do dinner with us, which by the way was ahhh-mazing. Baya and I made two grocery store trips and a playground stop of course on the way. We got ready for dinner and dad showed up to help cook it. Our most lovely friend melissa joined us too:) She made a yummy fruit salad while we actually prepared hibachi fillet with fried rice and veggies. I must say i wish I would have thought to make this meal earlier because it was much simpler than I imagined and oh sooo good!
That's all though, Brett had to go back to the library to work and he is also way busy campaigning for president, so I am just sitting here snuggling with my mini passed out valentine.
I would like to say (because I can never say it enough) just how grateful I am for my husband though. He always knows how to put a smile on his girls' faces. Everyday is so special with this man. We love him with all our hearts. Happy Love Day! <3
