This has been a very busy week so far.. mostly for Brett but we have been a part of his whirl wind. Last week he had a draft due for his 30 page paper and as soon as that was done he has been focused on his campaign. He really wants to win, and I do too, only because it would make him happy not because it would make him even busier. He had his debate last night (he did amazing), but he was slightly discouraged to find out yesterday they are going to allow the 3Ls to vote for the first time. It doesn't make a lot of sense for them to vote really and now that puts him at a huge disadvantage. So basically he went from having it in the bag to considering dropping out.. but he will see it through and try very hard to get his message out to the 3Ls today (that's all the time he has because voting is tomorrow!) Anyways, I am ready for this to be over... he needs a little break in my opinion. Which works out because he gets one this following week.. he has the whole week off for spring break! I am excited to have some fun with him.. and then that Friday I head back to Myrtle! woot woot!
side note: bay is getting more attached to her dad. She thinks he is so fun, which is funny because he is also more of the disciplinarian.. it is a good combo though. It wouldn't be good to have him always be fun or always "mean." I am more of the nurturer of course and lover, I try to be fun too but I just can't compete with dad, and I have to be mean sometimes but baya listens to Brett much more (so it is always nice when he is around) .. I must say that we are in a phase where she generally listens though. :) lucky us.. for now.......
