another lovely sunday

another lovely week.. another lovely sunday. It has been an adjustment moving 12 hours from home but we are so grateful for this opportunity. It is a great time to make positive changes, meet new people that you may or may not impact or vice versa, learn new things, and to grow closer to the Lord and each other.
So anyways, this past week, I have tried to do something fun with baya everyday (outside of the house). We went to the library, which didn't go as intended. All she wanted to do was pull every single book off the shelves, but when she is home she is just content with looking through each one. WHY??? i guess i would think it is more fun to pull all the books off than actually reading them too though. :) We also went to the park located right beside brett's school, so when he finished class he walked over and met up with us. She really loved the park. She would climb the playground stairs and then we would go down the big slide together, we must have slid at least 25 times. But it was so wonderful seeing how much enjoyment she got from it. The park also has a little water park section, which amazes me because it looks so much fun and it is completely free. We are going to do that this week, I wanted to wait for all of the kids to be back in school and I need to get more swimmy diapers lol. Another day we all went to the beach, another we went to target, another our pool, and another we went to the mall. I let her go crazy in target. She played and played in the toy section and finally she decided she was done so she got up and started pushing my cart all by herself. Sometimes this girl thinks her britches are bigger than what they are. The mall was nice too. It is older than the one at home, but a little larger which is nice. Baya and I spent a lot of time walking in the coastal grand mall, almost like a 2nd home really (haha jk but seriously). This one just didn't feel as "home-y" though, but maybe that will just come with time (and lots of shoppin!).
We had church today, and we are officially naples ward members. We met with the bishop and got to know him some. SUPER great guy! I got a few other mommy phone numbers, so hopefully we can start having playdates soon. I need some friends in my life down here. lol. Baya is absolutely out of control when it comes to church though. She is getting harder and harder to actually keep content in 2nd and 3rd hour. She just wants to run around all over the place and she doesn't understand why she can't. BIG NEGATIVES TO EARLY WALKING! So I pretty much can't tell you anything that was shared the last two hours. And to top it off, she will be way tired but she will not nap there because there is just so much going on. So needless to say, when sunday comes around (specifically 2nd hour), I am already wishing she was old enough for nursery.........
