heya baya!

Baya has learned and accomplished so many things in such a short time! I am impressed everyday! She now waves hi and bye everytime. she blows kisses and gives kisses and hugs. it is so cute to watch her give her baby doll a little kiss and hug. She points and tries to tell us what things are. She will walk over with a book and hand it to me, and if we are sitting on the floor she will just crawl on our lap and patiently wait for us to read it to her.. and by read it I mean point at the pictures and tell her what things are.. which is cool because now she is copying us. She does the same thing with her snack containers and packages too.. she will grab it and bring it to us to open. She will copy us all the time, such as if we stomp our foot on the ground she will too. If we tell her no when she has something in her hands she shouldn't she will stop what she is doing and bring it to me. PRETTY COOL UH?I think she does this right now because she really enjoys sharing things with us and giving us things. Sometimes I feel like she goes looking for things I don't want her to have just for that same reason. lol. Dancing is still her favorite thing. Anytime she hears music she wiggles her head and booty, and it really surprises me how much rythum she has!!! I am not exaggerating! She is starting to play hide and seek too. if I go hide in another room and call her name repeatly , she loves to come find me. And in that same sense she also loves to chase me. In fact she cracks up so much she can't even walk she has to crawl, because when she laughs hard she falls a lot, but it is the funniest thing.
Since we have been here we have taken her to the beach more, and she is really enjoying it, and so are we!!! She loves playing with the sand, and she doesn't try to eat it every two seconds! This beach actually has seagulls that she loves watching. She is liking the water more because it is warmer and there are much less "scary" waves.
Right now Baya is a semi picky eater, so we are exploring new ideas from my baby food cook book. she definitely favors fruits though.

Our new home is awesome and perfect for Baya, but it is still not "home" to her, which will just take time, she is still super clingy. The one thing that I can leave her and not have her immediately follow me is when I put her Laundry basket full of clothes in the middle of her room and she will take one piece out at a time and play with it. (usually buys me 15 mins) lol. anyways, she is taking her first nap of two for the day, but I need to go move the clothes to the dryer so that when she wakes up the clothes will be ready for her to "help" me take them out.. SCORE!
